I think all the accountants in my area must be the richest around - after all, none of them want my business enough to return phone calls/e-mails!

Accountants are people that bayonet the wounded after the battle is lost.

Accountant - Someone who solves a problem, you didn't know you had, in a way you don't understand.

no accountant is ever going to own a rib - its a bottomless money pit only justified by having fun... ...accountants don't have a mechanism for valuing fun.

What a load of rollocks. I was not going to come out of the closet regarding my job, but comments like that are like a red rag to a bull.

I own one, and I spent money on it even though I know boats are bottomless pits. But you are right, I can't put a value on it. Ribbing is PRICELESS

It was a joke... ...but then again accountants aren't known for their sense of humour are they

However at least now the accountants are "coming out" perhaps some of you can help Jimbo - or if you don't do freelance type work can point him towards friends of yours that do!

Jokes...what are they then? I never would have guessed. Perhaps should have finished it with a after the

I pm'd Jimbo last night to see if I can help, but I'm not really in that line of work! In fact, I don't really do accounting work at all any more. Shame.

Good - so long as I didn't actually offend you. That was not the aim
