IS THIS A SCAM??( Skype)

I received a long skype text message from a person who works for a bank in London. The mesage was addressed to me with my correct surname and christian name.
Bascally it said that a customer of his bank with the same surname as me had been killed in a road accident along with all his relatives. The man's estate runs into the 20 million pound leage. He would like me ( quite legally it seems ) claim to be one of the dead man's relatives so that I could get a part of the 20 mm and he the rest. I am worried on two accounts

- how did they get my correct surname from Skype?( the spelling is quite unique)
- he has given a contact telephone number and the name of a London bank.

Anybody know about this one??

Jonathan

Just sounds like a variation on the Nigerian bank account scam. Give him all your details and prepare to be cleaned out

To find out how legitimate it is, find the bank website and phone the number on the website, that way you garantee to get through straight to the bank and not some bogus number. If they now nothing of this offer I guess its a scam.

They have been going through your dustbins mate, probably got your bank and credit card details, registration details of those nice new Yamahas, loads of stuff on you.

Only solution is to sell the rib quick at a knock down price especially as it the end of the season.

Pete

Pete- the last thing I will ever do in my life is to sell my Rib- Those yams are
just perfect. Just one twich of the key and they catch- no chokes. Am still experimenting with props- but must confess Johnny Fuller was right - my 52 knts was in fact 52 MPH as mis-set the GPs ( will have to eat humble pie )
