Job interview in the mornin'

Off to Aberystwyth (bloomin' Welsh spellin) in't mornin' for a job interview running a couple of bars in a hotel (wooooooooooooo). Hopefully I'll get it for a number of reasons. Firstly, booze. Secondly, manage to get out of this house, and finally I'll be living near the sea!

Matt (yes, I am incredibly bored, whatever gave you that impression?) Brown

Well done...

Hang one, aren't you going to Uni? Or are you having a year off?

Nope, not going to uni. Current plan is a couple of years doing my own thing, then off to the navy to become and EOD diver.

so you'll be dead rich

last time I was at a navy camp (HMS Raleigh) the head diver was driving a porsche. The monet is great, and the bonus's for doing the dangerous stuff means it also very well paid!!

nice choice mate

It's not all blowing stuff up, some of it is repair work on ships, checking out how big the hole is when the captain parks on a rock and so on.

Dead rich, nice witty comment there

Yeah, not exactly sure how much it is, but divers get an extra bonus on top of their salary as it's one of the more dangerous jobs. And on top of all that, I get HSE diving qualifications without paying to do the courses (infact I get PAID to do it!), so can then go onto a commercial diving job.
