..anyways… the only reason you didn’t buy one was when you went for a test drive and asked the Salesman if you looked good on it, he said… "it looked a bit like a giraffe trying to mate with a hippopotamus"…

What's a GS? who the dickens are Ewan and Charlie... more lost than ever.
Lankey= John Kennett, the fireworks man?
I come from an age when bobbys rode velocettes( anybody remember that one? Codders eh??) the best motorbike in town was either Norton or AJS and Aeriel had a square 4 of 1000 cc. and ............

C'mon Old Man... get with the programme!

GS = Finest all round Motorcycle ever made.... especially for those of us to old/fat/unfit to fit on small bikes..

Lanky = Sparkler Prefect = JK

Ewan = well-known actor ....Charlie = not-so- well-known.. They took off around the world on a couple of GSs for chariddeee..innit?
