You can't blame kids for messing around with this stuff, the blame lies firmly with legislation and shops selling to underage people and the age limit set too low.

Kids being Kids will experiment with anything they can get their hands on.

Couldn't agree more - the problem Nos is on about isn't really a problem with fireworks and banning them will have little effect - it's the root cause that needs to be tackled.

Right now the root cause is our local council paying to house these scum in a private area when the mother should be in prison and the kids should be in local authority care.

Its the way things are done nowadays. Its supposed to bring them up to the surrounding social scale. Doesn't work though. And it means to do this your local authority has had to buy a very expensive house for that family to live in.

That is why your Council Tax is so high and you don't see any apparent benefits of those high payments.

Call the local plod and ask to speak to the Duty Inspector. Explain the problem and that your willing to call the press and your local councilor to assist the Police in their effort to erradicate the problem !

The front desk of most Plod stations is staffed by civillians and are not always as helpful as the Duty Inspector !!! He is duty bound to take the complaint further.

If no joy there contact the Police Headquarters on Monday and ask for the complaints department. Explain that no action was taken about your complaint and that you are 'concerned for your own safety and the publics safety'

Something will be done !

Thats a very good idea. Make sure you get the Policemans name and collar number if its a Sergeant or Constable you speak to. That will work wonders.

What gets me are the people who call for violent computer games to be banned. They obviously don't realise that the yobs who hang around causing trouble aren't the same sort of people who stay in all night playing on their PCs - the yobs are the ones who nick PCs to buy drugs!!!!

I still have all my limbs attached although it's probably more by luck than judgement - still that's part of growing up. The more you mollycoddle kids the more they will seek thrills behind your back.

The word "don't" or "banned" to kids has a completely opposite meaning.

And it's FAR better than them going out and terrorising old ladies!!!

The extended family is run by a grumpy old woman with a pack of fierce
dogs. Her car isn't taxed or insured, and doesn't even have a number
plate, but the police still do nothing.

Her bad tempered old man is famous for upsetting foreigners with racist
comments. A shopkeeper blames him for ordering the murder of his son and
his son's girlfriend, but nothing has been proved yet.

All their kids have broken marriages except the youngest, who everyone
once thought was gay.

Two grandsons are meant to be in the Army but are always seen out in
nightclubs.

The family's odd antics are always in the papers. They are out of
control..............
