Been edited together very well.
If it's real the guy deserved it for not taking any notice of what the seal was fleeing from.
Thinking about it though, any waters that the Seal and Killer Whale live in together would be a little chilly for a dip in a pair of shorts.

Ha! Killer Whales guys, the hint's in the name! When our grandfathers named them they knew a thing or three - no amount of fancy re-branding as Orcas and a soft soap voiceover by that David Rat-in-burrow bloke would convince me to trust a
.
.
.
KILLER WHALE!
(it's a fake BTW. Well, when I say fake, the seal is real, and the American is real and the whale is real, just not all in the same place at the same time )

Sort of unrelated, if you like that you'll love Orca the Killer Whale! Its a film from the 70's, essentially Jaws, but with a Killer Whale (and slightly more complex/unrealistic plot), but very few people seem to have heard of it!

The one where the captured whale gets pissed off after being fed something weird (metal laced potato was what it looked like) and goes on a rampage?
FWIW, I think there have been zero verified reports of orcas attacking humans in the wild. At least that was the case several years ago when I looked.

No! Maybe there's two! In this one, a fisherman kills a pregnant female and the male then sets about taking his revenge by killing the fishermans friends and then setting up a final showdown on an iceberg.
No I'm not making that up!

The father was upset because his baby was killed along witht he mother. complete with premature birth on the deck of the boat. great memories as a kid.......

Yep she gets her leg chomped off when the house falls into the sea!
The bit that disturbed me was when there is a beached whale at one stage, if you look it is still breathing, which made me wonder if they actually killed a real whale (it seems a bit random to come across a beached whale when making a film about them)?

Killer Whale are very clever hunters, did anyone watch the Frozen Planet documentary a while back, they showed Orca practicing the same technigue as shown in link, on the filming crew's small boat, but I can't seem to find link for that seen.
