Lakes in Somerset

Not many that I'm aware of if its powered....Depending on Size the Short run on the Tone from The Market to French Wier is ok...and I've taken the SIB onto the Ex and Teign many times in the past ...without any Hassle..not that I've looked for it
The Wye is the worth a drive too...if your thinking of a weekend.
I think there are a few Private Skiing lakes one Know nr Highbrige that will cater for you...some municipal lakes have their own craft you can Hire...for fishing ect,but don't allow Private Boats.
Why the interest in Lakes?

I'm in Somerset and wanted to tryout rib without dragging it all the way to coast it's not been in water for 6 yrs and looking to sell it . Halmatic Pacific 22 6.5 mtrs

Somerset is pretty close to the coast? There may be a marina that will let you test launch Portishead maybe? or a water ski lake perhaps Middlemoor Waterpark: water ski, wakeboard, jet ski and karting facilities is the only one i know of and not sure if they would entertain a launch

You can launch at Bristol marina i don't think it cost much
