Ditto. Good torch spoiled by crappy non stainless grub screw and crappy rusty mag switch. Because of this when mine packed in I binned it as it's not suitable for the salty stuff. The mag switch was a redesign of the original screw down head. This had a tendency for the metal cover for the head to turn but not the head itself so it wouldn't screw down onto the mainbody.

I think this is even more powerful. The photos at the end of the video say it all really:

It MAY be Brightest??? ... But how long does it last? Have to go some to beat a 12v ''Blue eye'' I've used one for ''Lamping'' for years it's 1,000,000 Candle power.. and will light up a Fox (or Whatever) well over a quarter of a mile away! And used sensibley will last all evening. They now do a 1.5 million which must be VERY enlightening
Good idea to make sure they are disconected when put away...They tend to get a bit Warmish too!

Fenix's homepages
4 mins in you see beam shots !
I bought one and people are shocked at brightness
regards
Scott
PS. Candle power is NOT a true measurement, but lux is standard

I do like how this thread started off with Whisper asking what he could attach to a Gecko...

Horses for courses as they say. Sure you can get brighter torches, but a half decent 200 lumen torch fits in your pocket (or clips to your Gecko). A 1,000,000 CP doesn't.

I have a lenser p7, small, light and very bright.
It will illuminate objects a few hundred yards away.

After some thought I returned to the shop where I first saw these in Cyprus and picked up an L5 Lenser torch which is light weight and runs on one AA. I have now got it fitted to the Gecko and it's awesome
Pics to follow...
