Loans
Anyone tried to get a loan recently? Obviously is going to be harder but wouldn't have thought it would be impossible!
Been knocked back twice now so decided to leave it. Am gutted as I wanted to get this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Very tidy boat.
Ah well.

After being given 10's, if 100's £millions of our tax payers money, why on earth should they want to "give" any of it back??
Coming of a very good tracker mortgage soon, I am staggered at the rate of the "standard variable" rate. As I recall it is at the same level now, as when the Bank of England rate was 3%, so as it is now 0.5%, I was expecting (stupidly) for it to be in the region of 1 - 2%.
Should have privatised the lot of them or let them sink. By comparison, Estate Agents are looking good ...

I've not tried - but from what I can see they are still dishing out credit cards - some of which offer the sort of rates you might expect on a small loan? That said if the bank thinks you might struggle to pay back a loan getting into [more] debt might not be the best solution - and you'll just have to stick to the SR5.4
John, the port tube cone looks surprisingly worn for supposedly 2 yr old tubes?

Don't use or like credit cards as they tend to get used by people other than me (Naming no names.....WIFE!!!) and things get silly. Besides the mortgage which I'm actually in credit for I have no other loans. One thing they don't like is my mortality rate (fancy word for you can cark it any minute)
Looking at other Osprey's they seem to look a bit scruffy around the cone seam?

Sell your SR5.4 and buy that. That way you have some pennies in your back pocket for beer and a 4x4.
