After vowing never to go back, my mate phoned to say he had some cheap tickets & that the outdoor show was worth a look, so we will be there on the 19th.

Where is the water around the NEC?

Obviously Southampton is very well placed in that respect for floating displays and on the water demonstrations and features etc.

London Excel does have some large bodies of water around it, so is able to offer a limited amount of space for 'stuff' happening on the water too.

I know the NEC can have indoor pools like Earls Court did, and is probably drowning at the moment due to the weather, but it would limit what's possible.

Nasher.

Hi Martin

Go and see Mick from Sussex Boat Shop Hall A Stand 201. They have on their stand a Parker 660 Weekend with a Mercury 150 EFI

Well, just back from the boat show. All I can say is that unless you've got a particular reason to go then you'll probably be a bit disappointed. It's now down to one side of the centre which includes chandlery, cars, ladies non-boating clothing etc. I only wish I hadn't already bought tickets to go back with friends on Friday. Guess there's always the Guinness stand.

:-(
