lost file recovery

Hi guys

I have deleted some files last year which I really need now.

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding any of the file recovery / forensic annalysis software solutions available?

It all depends how much the computer has been used since. IF you have only used it a few times you MAY be lucky but the chances are most of it will have been overwritten by now.

How did you delete the files? They may still be in the recycle bin.

I tried every trial version possible to recover some files last year but less than 2 hours after deletion they had been partially overwritten.

If you deleted them last year you've probably lost them as they'll have been completely overwritten by now. (unless there's a cure for that now too?)

BTW, if anyone has a good programme for fixing damaged zip files so they can be opened...
