As you say its happened before perhaps there is a lesson to learn, maybe take it easier in the future, next time you might not be so lucky and any boats in vicinity may not see you in time to avoid you. The charter boats in the area from what i heard only saw someone waving from another boat in the area and slowed realising there might be something wromg, so if they hadnt taken action it might have ended badly .
