Marine Boy. A Nostalgia Trip



Just found this. I loved Marine Boy as a little tacker, it inspired me to take up snorkling at a very young age.

You too eh? I saw these a couple of years back. I'd actually completely forgotten about it. But when I heard it, I was suddenly wrenched 40 years into the past, sitting on the so very big sofa, glued to the black and white TV. Man...

& If you were really lucky you could also catch the undersea world of Jacques Cousteau who was on at 7.30 back in the early 70s ,
Some of their diving equipment were very much advanced even in 1971 by today's standards .
Think he was probelly Zodiac inflatables best advert .

I started diving because of Hans and Lotte Hass. In B&W on my electric far-seeing machine. This was, of course, when there was still something to see underwater.
