Missing Submarines in the Channel
im watching a Time Team special where they have located the WW1 Holland Submarine somewhere near Dover
When dived by them, to me it looked very intact and all in good shape so to speak
Given the small size of it and the rarity why on earth don't they raise it instead of letting it slowly disappear..???
I know we have some divers on Ribnob. has anyone dived it etc

Yes saw that, but the 5 version was the first ever RN Sub and it only 35 metres down. Would be amazing to see that again.

If it is a war grave then it gets (I believe) rather more complicated raising the dead too!

My club has got a licence to dive it, we plan on doing a dive sometime this year. Time Team certainly didn't locate it.....
