Shouldn't you be at the gym training to move your searider?
Get out your contacts book, I'm relying on you.

Contact Mobil UK and ask for your nearest retailer that stocks the stuff, or get it from them direct.

Opie Oils, down 'druth. Apparently though 3309 is also used by Toyota and vauxhall as their own brand, best get shopping then.

Not really that unusual. As I recall my Toyota 4-Runner holds something like 16 US qts for a complete flush and fill.
Don't know about the UK, but Mobil 3309 can be had here in the states for $52/case of 12 qts, which doesn't seem too unreasonable.
Might behoove you to check the spec required (T-IV, perhaps?) and see if you can find something more palatable pricewise than the Mobil.

Thanks Jky, Toyota type T-IV is also suitable but I managed to get some from our local supplier Opie oils, it's badged as Gulf but is suitable for the aisin-warner gearbox as well, much cheaper than Volvo wanted!

Yeah, there are several T-IV rated transmission fluids out now.
Glad you got it sorted.
