Indeed, Monty has moved to Dartmouth and is in the process of opening a Shop in the Market Square.
It's great seeing Reuben on the Park

LOL. Funny story!
Though had you misheard his pronunciation or had he thought the sea eagles were seagulls?

I thought that one of the fishermen in the show seemed bo be a bit harsh, To an outsider the same fisherman did not potray the locals as a frendly bunch (heavy fisherman with no neck)
BTW has a new whale wars started

There are many reasons why 'incomers' are not always welcomed with open arms into small West Country villages, but that's a weighty topic on which I can't be bothered to expand.

Well the locals should be damn well pleased to see outsiders.
I can't think how much I've spent in Rock and Padstow over the years.
Anyone who makes me feel unwelcome certainly won't enjoy my custom.

I live in Salcombe - I trimmed my hedge and our live in Leeds neighbour threatened us with legal action because it turned out it was 3 inches to short - he's facing a £500 legal bill which grows every time he tries to find a way out of it!
Not all outsiders are idiots but this guy is really trying my patience - he's a consultant surgeon - arrogant twat!
