Caledonian Macbrayne's old Minch workhorse the Suiliven (built in '75) has sunk in Fiji. Thankfully, there's no loss of life.
Remember this vessel well, and being stuck outside Stornoway in gale-force winds years ago because it was too rough to enter the harbour.
It was sold to a New Zealand company a number of years ago to ferry sheep. There are videos of it on YouTube ploughing the South Seas in some fairly rough seas.
Think it changed hands again and was sold to a Fiji shipping company. It was transporting tuna and seems the containers shifted below deck causing the vessel to list.
