My blue tree!

What about this blue tree! First full summer in our cottage in Lymington and I came back from abroad to find the tree is now sensationally blue. It fell over in the gales and you can just see the prop holding it up.

Anyone know what type of tree this is??

The one in the fore ground is a fig (another at the back). Came out quite late last year - but I could have fed an army off the two trees - free figs available late summer!

Looks like a Jacaranda tree the streets In pretoria South Africa are lined with them although they originate from S America.

Reminds me, Costco are selling Goslings rum for £14 a bottle. It just goes down too easily with a drop of ginger beer and a twist of lime!

Welcome back to blighty by the way. How was the Caribbean season?

I am a broken man - the headline act at Shirley Heights was Mr Lova Lova himself, Shaggy. Went to Yarmouth this morning to the pub to try to clear the head. That didn't work!

Lol, reminds me of St Maarten 2006 with 10,000 other lucky souls on Kimsha beach watching Damien and Stephen Marley close the regatta. Once in a lifetime experience.
