My new boat, not a rib but still my new toy.

Put an order in for my new boat in March, and should be ready in 10 days! can't wait, its a Pro Angler 19, to replace my Orkney 19 which I just did not get on with. I am fitting a Suzuki 70hp Fourstroke, no speed boat but I will be using it for commercial potting in my spare time she will do 25kts, enough being as I fish in and around the rock on Jerseys SE Coast which has rocks every where. Here is a pic of the boat after coming out the mould nice bow on her, part the reason for buying her was this so as I have half a chance of keeping the white rollers out the boat in the winter unlike the Orkney.
Will post more pics when she is finished, prob mid June. Got loads of kit to put on her first. Thats me stuckk in the workshops for the next couple of weeks when she arrives.

The boats are built by a 1 man band, don't be fooled by the background these are one strong boat, I got hit by a cresting wave beam on in January on my mates version of this boat and it laid the boat on its side and we surfed down the wave, lots of water on deck ect. Not nice but it did not role over like an Orkney may have done being a round bilge.

go to www.the-boatman.co.uk for more info if you are intrested.
