Ive got the £9.99 a month Napster membership thingy (I think its called Napster Bronze or napster light). Anyway it allows me to download as much music as I want to listen to on my computer (and only my computer). This has been fine up until the other day when my computer went wrong in spectacular style. A few quid later I have the data back from my hdd (along with the music) and want to play it on another machine. Ive installed Napster and entered all my membership details so it knows who I am but when I try and play anything (in media player) it says something about aquiring licence and then comes up with an error message. Now I assume this is becasue I don't actually "own" the tracks. Does anyone know of a way of getting round this.
Tim
You should have recorded your tracks rather than saved them using winamp. Still there are a few progs out there to help you - haven't tried them mind - haven't touched Napster in years!!!
I dont know if my problem is just with me or whether it affects everyone. I would have assumed that I would be able to play the tracks I'd downloaded on my other computer with Napster running on it. But it wont let me.
