hi there, just joined up. seems to be a lot of fun on here. i have had my boat for 8 months. Quite inexperienced but havin a great time in me boat. i have sailed to edinburgh, carrickfergus and london amongst others. i set sail from various ports across the country as i travel a lot with my job.
there seem some interesting folk on here, rob jones' videos looked pretty silly but fun.

hi there, she is a 250 hpdi and she is a dream. severe acceleration, feels like my fillings are about to fall out. particulary out of the hole.

Got two of the bastards on my transom. Early hours at the moment but what beauties. I replaced my 200's yams carbs ( 1994 vintage ) with the 250's and apart from getting married- it was the best thing I have ever done.
Consumption is some 15 liters/hour/engine at 2700 rpm ( 25 kts ) and goes to 30 liters/hr/engine for 42 kts at 4000 rpm and just could not resist it ... 5700
rpm - 60kts. There aint nothing like Yamaha to make you feel so young....me it wasnt the dentures- just the balls needed to be shaken up a bit...

When you look at it .. every tom, dick , and harry on this board seems to be an IT consultant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Must be missing something..

RW - the board is cerainly quiet , Codders seems to have gone AWOL, Richard B- I would have expected he would have taken the bait about IT..
What is about you people ? Everybody gone to sleep? and about being retired... only retired people can afford these expensive toys- if I was 30, it would be a 5m and 30HP, if I was 40 , it would be 6m and 200 HP, but now that i am "" its 9 m and 500 hp, age and power - it goes together.

If you were 30 and an IT consultant you to could afford the toys.

IT pays shit loads and as such is reflected on these pages.
