New (old) SR name ?

I'm a firm believer in every boat needing a name ( and not just for ofcom ! )

Latest idea for the SR is 'Perseus' - those in the know will see the reason for this ......

I'm open to suggestions for other names

Its a grey tube , white hull & console 1990 SR4...

Now, I don't think that boats with outboards should have names. Only numbers. Just like racing cars should have numbers not names.

Hmmm. I love a puzzle...

1. Possibly you have a pair of Flying Sandels (not liking this one)

2. Maybe you refer to yer Ex as the Gorgon Medusa (prefer this one, I call Mrs willk this before she has her barnet sorted of a mornin')

Is it because Peresus' grandfather was the king of Argos..... and thats where the materials have been sourced? OR is it cos he defeated Poseidon?

I think RedBull F1 team have names....but have to disagree ..all boats have to have names as all boats have personalities ...don't they ?

Close with the classical thinking line....Perseus father was...

Nestor ...( my old boat name ) ..who was of course one of the argonauts etc etc

So unless anyone can come up with suggestions ...??

Sorry, but if you're going to go down the classical route I'm going to have to play the "Titan Uranus" card!

That's a great name. All boats should have a name, my ten ft T/T even has a name of her own.

Hate those play on words type names like piston broke etc
