It washed up on a beach along the Solent. This has now prompted a chat with my kids about what we can and can't pick up and it also means that I had to dispose of it

We did a beach clean with the MCS earlier in the year at Hamble Point.

A shocking volume of rubbish collected over a pretty small beach with several needles etc coming to light. Easily trodden on, picked up by kids and dogs.

Plus a tattooed prat walking along with his kids chucking crisp packets down as they finished them, despite seeing us clearing up. Got a mouthful for remonstrating with the low life.

There's no educating some people

It's been washed up on the beach as it was in the sticks etc on the tide line so it could have come from anywhere.

Get hypodermic syringes at my regular slipway all the time, sometimes they still have the needles attached . You have to be ever so careful walking around because if this doesn't get you a broken pallet with a nail sticking up will.
