Well!! I've bought a few thing off gumtree & they've all been genuine sellers up to now never come across any scam yet

I've tried selling 3 times, every time had dodgy buyers from Africa etc

If I sell anything I always do it on ebay and apart and from a few stupid people asking daft questions I have had no problems they either pay cash in person or use paypal. Must admit though HP I have never tried gumtree but isn't there an old phrase..... being left stuck up a gum tree

Agreed, eBay and must have over 10 rating seems to work well.
