Had Paddy indeed addressed his associate thus, he would have referred to him as Murphy, for that is how he spells his name. He would, in addition, have had the common courtesy of placing his comments in inverted commas

I await further examples of your scintillating wit with bated breath...

You made me think there for a minute. I was about to mention that my name isn't Will and then I remembered that your's probably isn't Courageous - you're actually playing on "Valiant". That's very clever! Until just now I had thought that the reason was because you are a pilot and you'd thought it appropriate...

Hehe! Well done! We'll call it quits then and move on..... Actually "Courageous" was the last Nuclear Submarine my late father served on, now also the name of my other boat. Wonderful thing sentiment. I am anything but courageous sadly.
