£1.27 for cheapo supermarket unleaded yesterday, feels like I've been had over a barrel!

I thought £1.28 at the services was bad - that was only because nowhere between Sussex and Norfolk had LPG available for some reason...

RIBase
I filled the tank with diesel on Christmas Eve and it was 126.9p per litre. Out looking for a kitchen table of all things yesterday and it's gone up 3p in as many days to 129.9. The worst I remember it was 134.0 two-three years ago when we had a fuel crisis. The government will never act as they're creaming half the duty in tax. The thought of trading my V6 quattro for a 1.0 litre Toyota seems to be getting a step closer. Tory B*stards!

Forgot to mention, Aberdeen, oil-capital of Europe.

We do have french boats coming to Jersey to fill up. Prices there are as high as those in the UK so if your fuel tanks are large enough it's cost effective to come over.

I just did some conversions....

Ours is 1.20 Canadian $ per litre... works out to a litre for .77 pounds

I cross the border into the US to fill my car (about 5 miles south of me) price there is $3.00 US for a US gallon (3.8l) = .51 GBP per litre!

Bought Mrs. Moll a cheap little Clio 1.5DCI 3hrs after paying £95 to fill the Disco. At 60mpg, I've kinda stopped fretting about the cost of fuel now.

That should just about save you enough after a few hundred thousand miles to pay for all the mechanical repairs that go hand in hand with owning a Renault

We'll be cruising right past the old Renault factory on our way through Paris next year: google map

It's been flattened now to make way for a poncy art museum, caused a bit of an uproar amongst the socialists that, apparently they saw it as a symbol of the "Nation's glorious industrial past"
