Yes there very good, sold an 18kg new tyre the other week, and they only charged a tenna with next day pickup delivering to N Scotland.

We use Interparcel too. 5% discount on all future orders for opening an account (free with no restrictions or requirements). UPS is all we have used. Very good service. Did use P2G first before the switch

Thanks for the recommendation. Never heard of Interparcel before, but just used them to ship an item to Japan and another within UK, both with UPS.

The Japan item was an eBay sale that I only wanted to ship within UK, but someone in Japan was desperate and willing to pay a lot for the item plus cover the shipping! All the info from Interparcel explained what I had to do, what I needed to print out and it was collected from home.

Great service and much better prices than Parcel Force.

Gerry

P.S. no connection, of course.

Another vote for Interparcel... been using them for years. I only use their UPS service (still really cheap) and the only problems I had were a few years back when they couldn't agree a contract with UPS and dropped them for a while. Various other carriers didn't seem to think it important they kept to the collection day which was a pain.

I buy and sell a few bits of old hi-fi over the year and it always amuses me when some one selling says "these speakers are heavy so postage £29.99... when I know Interparcel would send them for a tenner.

In truth it doesn't matter which third party agent you use the delivery process is the same. It's when things go wrong that it matters as each agent has different policy and standards of customer service.

We used to have a few problems with pallet agents. Now I've gone direct cutting out the agent. Saves me cash, which saves the customer cash and to date no issues with failed collections. Turns out they do actually offer much more flexibility such as collections after 4 rather than all day, it was the agents that made the rules, mostly to give themselves time to do the donkey work.

Can now get very good rates for pallet delivery so if you ever need one booking....
