Petrol Strikes ....
So - the PM has initiated PANIC buying .....
As long as I can get the boat in the water and running I am happy not to drive to work ....but I'll drive past it to launch the boat - or is that irresponsible of me ?
Wish I had a diesel boat as the car is virtually on empty but I've got 25L of 2 stroke mixed up ! and only 15l of unleaded in the RIB......Bugger ....

I only work 4 miles away and it took me 40 mins to get home tonight beause of the blasted queing on the roads by the panic buyers
Just wait till the shelves are empty in the supermarkets for the same reason

He is a plonker. Telling people to store fuel. I work 85 miles away from home.
so it hits me hard when I cant get fuel.
But I can stay at home. :-)

Same here Andy - I just happen to have run the car down to 48 miles before it stops ....bad timing - but really politicians need an arse kicking..there isn't even an actual strike yet and they have caused chaos ....
If I cant easily get a little bit tomorrow its going to be a long weekend for me - I need to save what I've got for enjoying myself !

Tried to fill up at 3 different places today and no diesel left! Been on zero miles for 20 miles now! Got some in the garage for emergencies though.

I wish all those rushing out would get a grip! It will be at least 7 days before any strike, if they do at all. The chances are you will have to top up the car as normal in that time anyway .....
Storing fuel at home is asking for trouble for Joe Average

Unleaded and Diesel has run out in Canterbury with most fuel stations closed after a day of panic buying.
Luckily i filled the boat tanks up after my last outing. Woohoo.

It turns out that the panic buying is all a hoax caused by a load of ribs filling up simultaneously along the south coast last saturday in anticipation of a round the island run

Good call. I've filled my wife's favourite Le Creuset soup pan right to the brim. Just hope she doesn't stick it on the hob!
