pictures stuck in word

Hi guys

I have a word doc with some photos stuck in it. Does anyone know how to extract the pictures from the document so that I can save them as bmp files to use in other slide presentations.

Open the doc
Left click once on the image
Either press Ctrl+C *OR* right click and press Copy
Open up imaging software. Paste
Done

Alt's method will work - but if you have lots of pictures it gets a bit tedious. A quick "cheat" is to go File >> Save as webpage... >>

Change the file type to *.htm / *.html

Give it a file name. A folder with the same name _files will be created - this will contain all your images.

Thats what I do, same with Powerpoint, just save it on the desktop as a web page and you can pinch all the pics
