Like a few on here we volunteer for BDMLR and assist local conservation orgs etc.....but yesterday was my first Pilot Whale encounter.... a sad outcome, but the only viable option /best by far for the animal which was in a very poor state....
The PM is taking place today, but that's two deepwater species live beaching in relatively close proximity (a striped Dolphin on the Gower two days earlier) as well as large pods of Common Dolphins spotted in unusual /shallow waters..... Will be interesting to see whats occurin'
