Places To Eat
OK folks, here we go.
I'll start off with "Captain Morgan's" in Salcombe. Just a caff really but does the biggest breakfast that I have seen for a long time. I think KH would be hard pushed to finish it
[I'll get to my opinion of the Fushias after a few more of you have posted your choices]
Come on people, don't be shy. From the humble to the grand, the cheapest to the most expensive and far and near.

Well not quite to eat, I suppose, but..............
when I dock up at Salcombe, the obvious place is, as Ribald says, Captain Morgans because it is right in front of you, by the pontoons. Personally, I go just round the corner to the Salcombe Coffee Shop (eat/drink in, or takeaway).
I usually get a takeaway coffee and go and sit back on one of the bench seats by the pontoons and watch everybody else making a pig's breakfast of "parking".
Great fun for a sadist like me.

OK the eating (and drinking).
The Turk's Head on the island of St. Agnes in the Scillies must be the best pub with the best food with the best view in the whole of the UK. (Or am I wrong?)
Here is the only (very bad) piccie I have of it.

Couldn't agree more about Captain Morgans - especially thier big breakfast!
Don't forget Captain Flints - a pizza pasta and steak place which is very popular with families - they queue up the street in the summer!

The kebab shop in Turnham Green Terrace, Chiswick, the food is crap but you get to be served by Manos!!
Watch out for slippery floor, some fool washed it with a diesel/water mix.

Mr Diggler, you are cruel and outrageous.
It's not big and it's not clever. Is it?

OK lets get back on theme...
I'm going to unashamedly take this thread up-market now!
Seeing as we started off on a Salcombe theme, here's a recommendation for somewhere you can take the missus out to in the evening... their web site speaks for itself, but to add my endorsment, I have never eaten anywhere better:
http://www.soarmillcove.co.uk/
Enjoy!
(PS they've got their own private beach, and probably wouldn't bat an eyelid if you asked to clean up after anchoring the RIB a few metres offshore. Personally, don't mess around, just get a taxi there!)
