This looks very like a case reported in our local paper where lots of cash was found in gift wrap (unless that's the way it's done). Around £300K in total.

They were going round pretending to be a well-known local tree surgeon and then charging the usual inflated rates.

You'll be delighted to know that they were convicted of various fraud and deception offences - sentences pending at the moment. It will be interesting to see if the cash is confiscated as well - can't believe it won't be.
