Powerboat Crash

Looks like these guys had a lucky escape over the weekend. Check the video - it's fairly spectacular.

This was all over the television down here last night, both internal and external footage. Scary stuff!

Great bit of video - especially as they were ok. Boat looked a bit rough afterwards!!!

Most spectacular crash I have seen was on "The World's most amazing videos" or similar - it was in South America and a racing cat lost steering and rammed a race officials boat(something like a small Nelson).

The boat was doing well over 100mph - it impaled the launch and was actually right through it. It was a miracle nobody was hurt. The racer was going nuts though - you would have thought he would be glad to be alive!!!

What looked quite funny was the way the people were thrashing around in the water - maybe they were in shock but I reckon they were afraid of Phirana fish.....
