powerbulge
For all of you imaginative, creative types. A mate of mine is in the latter stages of fitting a bike engine into his kitcar. He needs to fit a powerbulge into his bonnet to accommadate the air induction. He either needs a custom moulding or preferably something that he can bastardise and have glassed into the bonnet. Ideally he could do with a plastic or glass fibre cylinder that is around 9" diameter that is dome ended on both ends (a similar shape to a diving bottle or fire extinguisher). We have come to a dead end, can anyone think of something easily obtainable that could be butchered to suit?

Back of MaxPower magazine are custom bonnet scoops/ sculptured bonnets, although you may well have considered these.

Why not take a mold off a diving bottle or fire extinguisher?
Nasher.

I have just been sent a photo. The moulding looks like it needs to be bigger than I described and probably a much more custom shape than a cylinder!

Hope your mate allows plenty of room in his 'powerbulge' to let that baby breathe.
