I recently asked the Gurnard what he used to work at. He said that he had previously been in Communications. I wonder does that mean Getting a Message Across?
Yup.. I agree Willk.. successful communications.. in my book (and boat) ...means getting the message across with as few words as possible .. and little chance of misinterpreting the message....

A pal of mine was the guy in the sportscuddy! He had an identical boat, absolutely hopeless. He could miss his berth by a whole berth on a perfect summers eve. His Missus and kids would become anxious about a mile before the marina as they'd usually get the rough end of it.
