Talking of Hummer towing capacities though as you DID ask to stick to them - the H2 is 3100kg - the Land Rovers 3500kgs.

Well for the sort of money a H2 costs you could easily afford a Range Rover - I am sure with a supercharged 4.2 V8 putting out nearly 400bhp it wouldn't be much of a problem!!!

To be honest I don't think the petrol OR diesel disco 3 would struggle much either!!!

well i have a landy with a towing capacity of 3500kg and i dont think it would tow as well as a hummer, no point throwing other stuff like pricing or rangerovers in the mix, with 400hp etc as i remember you said torque is everything.......

wish my landy had as much talk as you do.....

At low speeds yes!!!

Why not throw pricing in the mix - you are comparing older vehicles with newer ones in a different price league!!!

Nick I will try to answer your reply

I dont think that starting a thread on Hummers means I have a chip on my (solder) or even on my (shoulder) for that matter,

I dont praise everything (Jag) or (Jap) either especially not (Jags), I hate them

as to (seams) I (seem) to think they are where the haylpon meets on ribs

as to (hearing) Gippos over (here) we have them too, thats (here) rather than (hear)

You are probably right about me not changing, for the prices listed on the link I provided, I would definately give Hummer a look as regards a gutsy tow vehicle
Thanks for the correction Gavin
