Recomended marinas south coast in sept 2009

We will sail a 65 f sailboat, draft 2,5m...from ibiza to stockholm.... And wondering what to not miss around the uk south coast. Falmouth is the only we have on our list yet. We will do this trip in the middle of september.

Worth stopping off in Portsmouth to look around the historic dockyard and HMS Victory which gave the French and Spanish fleets a bit of a duffing up

Moor opposite in Haslar Marina and use the ferry to cross the harbour, marina friendly and have good staff.

I know it will be a bit out of your way but how about a trip up the Thames to London? There are some great marina and the views will be amazing - especially if they have to raise Tower Bridge for you!!!

I guess I'm thinking RIB not 65ft yacht. 75 miles would feel like a pretty good leg to me especially if the weather was shite
