Restaurants in Lymington

I am dropping some people off in Lymington soon and would like a few suggestions for a good beer/wine location and / or restaurants, anywhere in town or up the river, Cheers

Hi IAn
Depends if they are here in the day time the "kings head" on the Town Quay coobles does really nice food and a selection of beers and wines.
Just up from there on the right hand side is a small bar called "Graze" more of a tapas type place but does a wider selction of wines.

Up the high street further is a place called "Lanes" which has a wider selection of foods.

Haven't heared of this buddy... did you mean the Bluebird restaurant on the cobbles? I will agree it is great food.

on top of all those I have mentioned will do still have like "ASK" "Prezzo" and other Bar/Food places.

It depends on your taste but I guarantee you will find something.

I will see you on the river, fingers crossed for nice weather

THE MAYFLOWER IS AWESOME THO!!

Don't forget the Bosuns Chair. It's at the bottom of Station st next to the railway station and Sal Marine. It also offers off road parking and B & B

Can I hijack this and ask if anyone knows if there is anywhere in Yarmouth that does a decent breakfast 7 days a week from say 8 am ? It nearly killed me last year in not being able ot find a fry up after I had stayed over on the boat ?

Maybe its 'not that kind of customer' they are looking for ?

oh yes, im not sure of the name but somebody will know, as you head in to town with a pub either side,(the pub on the left has a up stairs veranda) take the first small footpath on the right and its on the right after 100 yds,

I don't know about opening times but here's a link to a list of bars and cafes with their telephone numbers:
