The most addictive game I have EVER played was called jump and roll on the Amiga - there was a scrolling road or track in space coming towards you - joystick controlled a ball which you had to keep on track - different colours caused it to speed up or slow down - in places bits of the track were missing so you had to avoid dropping through - to make matters worse ALL control;s were reversed for a while - then just as you would get used to them they would swop back again!!!

Must get around to installing an emulator and playing it again!!!

Xenon - Turrican - etc etc - no modern games have the sheer addictiveness....
