Ribbing Heaven
160+ sq km of lake, water temp in the high 20's, air temp in the high 30's, scenery to die for, gibbons swinging in the trees and overnight accommodation in luxury tents pitched on pontoons moored in this quiet backwater.

I spent the Easter hols here and about, only problem was the only 'boats' were kayaks (from which I took this pic) and long-tail boats that seem to be de rigueur in this location. Not a RIB to be seen anywhere.

How about Chiao Lan in Khao Sok National Park nr Phuket.
It does look well worth exploring, must be a few snakes swimming about !
