RIBnet burgees
Stuart "WAVEHUMPER"
I've had a couple of people asking about how they get RIBnet burgees recently. Are there any left?
John

The company that produced them was Printing Crazy and I am sure they can run off a couple of copies. I'll give them a call over the next few days and Find out how much and what sort of Batch they will run off, I could do with a few for our boats.

Burgees & Boatnames
Also Waveh. is it true that your next craft might be called 'Relentless'?? I was discussing your boatnames with someone and they suggested that as next in line... (good one don't you think?)
And when is the trout phenomenon in So'ton again?

Firstly I will sort out some Burgees this week.
Boat names. Relentless was Bill Hicks 2nd album his first one was called Dangerous. I guess that would be more appropriate to me on the water.
Our next boat is either gonna be called Little Wing or The Joyful Symphony or perhaps Beethoven's ninth
Walter Trout plays Southampton about every year. The Brook is a small venue, but has a magic atmosphere amd a passionate audience so Bands like to play it
If you two fancy going to a Gig then I can recomend
Kelly Joe Phelps November 13th
Connie Lush and the Blues shouters December 13th
Cheers

RIB NET
just an idea.
Whilst your at it ordering some Burgees. Can you find out if the same comapany does stickers. Preferably for a car so you can stick them on the inside of a windscreen and see them from the out side or/and ones that just stick on to paint work.

Interesting concept that naming your boat after music.....makes me feel like fitting a 200 watt amp and a couple of stacks and playing crossroads flat out while giving the boat some stick..
Or ,Badge.. saw phil seymour and Ginger baker at the 8th nat jazz and blues doing a duet.... then Clapton walked on... think you would have liked that wavehumper........

Yes that would have been a good gig to watch. when it's ruff I can't get the Hendrix track 'if 6 was 9 ' out of my mind. But i refuse to push my luck by calling a boat after that track.
Next few boats after Little Wing will be Cold Shot and Willing.
Free Burgee to the first person to identify correctly the performers and writers of those two tracks
