RIBnetters going on glacier

Couple of RIBnetters already arrived in Iceland and couple of more arriving tomorrow (Friday) on BA flight from Gatwick and one more last minute Saturday morning (who will miss the party tomorrow night).

In total of 16 people will be going on three highly modified SAR 4 x 4 jeeps Saturday morning to glacier Mýrdalsökull where specially modified heavy duty MAN truck will take the group towards the top where snowmobiles will be waiting to be taken out for spin

on way back some good and pure Icelandic drinks will be provided.... as we have an old saying.... after a drink noone should drive

On Sunday people have free day until traditional Icelandic Sunday dinner at my place

only 23 people are invited so I will be cooking in both kitchens in the house most of the day

Pictures should start coming tomorrow night from the party

For your information the area we are going to is earthquake active and for your information is map showing the area for the last 40 days and if you look at the red circles in left lower corner they show strength of quakes on Richter scale.

So interested to see if get some while we are playing
