Now you have done it, have you ever met Louise

I have not had the chance to meet Louise. She - from what I have seen on this board- seems

- to have her head screwed on the right way
- very clever
- extremely capable
- highly intelligent
- drives a big rib
- very helpful

A FEW OF THE QUALITIES YOU GUYS COULD DO WITH[I]

I know its not the time to be flippant - but Codders why do you need a
fish finder on a rib? I fail to see the relevance for a rib?? or do you mean "british fish and chips"

Jonathan
Fishfinder module for the Raymarine C80 - NOT only for looking for fish!!!! Maybe if I just said SONAR it would make more sense - or echo sounder??? Tells you how deep the water is and the bottom contours etc - pretty useful I would have thought???

I got some bad news for you mate. I was told last night that Raymarine are laying off 260 staff and moving production to China.

So.........
By the time you get your boat together it will be mostly chinese.
Please re-submit your order with the following part numbers:

British GPS now a No. 17
British Chartplotter now a No 45
British Fishfinder now a No. 8
British Radar now a No. 26
British VHF now a No. 29

If you are lucky you may get a free bag of (Cod) prawn crackers with it.

Yes it does appear to be true - but what most people fail to understand is that when things like this happen it is where the head office is and the technical staff that REALLY count - assembly doesn't count for much!!!

MOST manufacturers these days go down the same route.

Intel and seagate etc are Yank firms but they don't actually MAKE the products in the USA!!!

Yup. Almost as useful as a bit of passage planing with a pilot and a chart.
Batteries not required.

Helps find things, not dived on a wreck of a RIB yet though.

The french did give us Spannish fly care of the Foreign Legion before Pfizer gave us viagra....Sacre film bleu! and that was down to munching on unfortunate amphibians.
