Jon F - what I fail to understand is that you come on a RIB web-site/ forum and all you ever do is criticise ribs. Surely we have the right to choose whatever craft we like, be it yachts, motor-boats, sibs...whatever. I would not dream of going to 'your' site and start slagging off hard-boats. We appreciate your input and experience on a range of issues but if you do not like ribs or have something against them make your feelings known on boatmad.com - not here - thanks.

Dear Charles 'sense of humour failure' St Claire-bolam, do try to 'lighten-up' a little! you're all so bloody serious on here! I'm only having a bit of a laugh, and I do make my feelings known on boatmad, although contrary to popular belief, I have nothing 'against ribs' I just personally wouldn't want one! take a chill pill or something.
P.S. Charles, you're talking like a moderator, are you 'banning' me?

Dear Jon 'I am only having a laugh' Fuller -
I AM completely chilled, relaxed and do see the humour in most things. The point IS - if one continually harps on about something, particularly when it is mostly criticism, the humour does tend to fade a bit. Take the point and have a pill with a Gin and Tonic or whatever else you drink.
BTW - did you meet up with your old buddy Gallichan when you were here?

Charles,
Cup of tea for me! I don't take the evil 'poison' alcohol!
I too am as chilled as can be, just sitting at my poot chuckling!
Nope, sadly bob the nob is not my greatest fan, after I took a load of his work off him a few years back, including his ex house partners ski race boat, lolol...but did have a good time whilst over, back in july and august, so watch out!

Well, well. A few cages rattled during the last few posts.
JF
soon you'll extend the hard nose right round the topsides and hey-presto, a real boat!
Nah, then I'd become ordinary.
Performance boats. I don't think so. Mikes rib is the one he always said weighed 6 tons. Probably had something to do with the problem.

Because he's guaranteed that you, or Charles, or someone else will gobble up the bait like a hungry makerel. He then has a laugh at your expense and feels clever and everyone else ends up with a dozen or more tedious and pointless messages to wade through to find the real content!
Crazyhorse, we know you have decided that fully tubed RIBs are better than hard nosed. Do you have anything useful to add?
John

Jk Not a lot I can add to you last question JK
Exept to say in my oppinion that a fully tubed RIBs is as good if not better than a hard nosed rib.Providing it is built and designd well, for its intended use.
Hope this helps.
