RIP Sir Terry

A true gent and one of the few people that deserved the title.

A sad day indeed.

Yup, same here. His Janet & John stories were classic. Sadly missed.

Yes very sad indeed I drove to work with him for years and nearly left the road sometimes with his humour Like Dave his Janet and John stories were brilliant. Will be sadly missed.

^^^^ Ditto.
Janet & John & the interplay with the others on the breakfast show. Often had me crying with laughter.
There's quite a few on youtube & for those that haven't heard them well worth looking up.

He was a classic all right - I always enjoyed him on radio - perhaps less so on TV. I always felt we should have kept him here and sent you lads that little prig Gay Byrne instead. Sir Gay - has a ring to it

Very sad news, he was the only reason to watch the Eurovision years ago, his humour was great.

You did much worse, you gave us Norton!

Sir Tel followed by Ken, the consummate broadcasters of their era.
