Several of us are off to do the RYA Sea Survival Course at the Warsash Maritime Centre, Southampton on Sat 9 Oct 04. The college still have a couple of vacancies left if anyone else would like to do this course.

Quick report on the one day RYA sea survival course run by Warsash College.

Best described as brilliant. So if you haven't had to use a life jacket in anger or know who easy or difficult it is to get into a liferaft with foul weather gear on here is your chance to be taught by professionals. The morning is spent covering theory, life jackets, sea survival, life rafts and stuff followed after lunch by the pool session at Andark. A series of exerices which build into a very realistic senario.

Well worth it and you get to see what your money buys as they both show you and you use a range of kit from cheap to the really Gucci kit.

One course thats well recommended.
