TomTom directs me where I want to go - has good graphics and I can use free speed camera data - that will do me!!!
Also I suspect I can update easier and cheaper. Some car makers charge £2000 for sat nav - bit more than a £300 PDA - you could have an ultra mobile PC for that with all the bells and whistles.

you have pre quoted my last post(s) elsewhere on the subject and my arguments you devious and naughty chap, I'll not rise to that ..If you think you are right.. fair enough, its your cash..you blow it at your free will, my man, .. I have comfort knowing I have owned most of the systems in question... and can speak from personal authority, not flash mates hearsay. Tom Tom has its place ........like.................I..............Said.. .................. incase you are still deaf !!but its still poor by comparison .
Now if you are paying any attention to this post
well are you ?
you can load Tom Tom with useful POI's like low bridges. Now that is useful ! Still gets the roads with wrong names but at least it can tell you if your about to loose your p45 !
