Sea Boot Insoles

Had my current Dubarry boots for just over a year and the past weekend had to walk a fair way in them and discover they are very hard soles and I ended up with a pair of aching feet.

Any suggestions on a set of comfy insoles?

Boots for reference.

Hello

I use the scholl / Boots gel insoles in mine, same ones in my fire and walking boots. Work nicely.

Considering the price of Dubes, I wouldn't be putting any extra miles on those p^$$y yachting soles. I wear mine on deck and swap out to land wear (generally light hiking boots). Great at sea, great in the pub, not so much on the tarmac...

Insoles are a very personal thing as everyone's feet are different. I have a high arch with narrow feet, so I've found orange Super Feet perfect for running type shoes, and for all my boots I switch to SOL brands thickest insoles made with cork. They took a pair of boots with stiff Vibram soles that left my arch crushed and feet sore, to OMG these Lowa Camino's are the best boots I've ever owned.

The key is spend the money and get top quality insoles.
