If you come up with something let everyone know; but this is their mission in life - eat, breed, crap on everything.

Apart from the usual white/brown gunge I have so far had:

Fish (part and whole), crustaceans of various species, one guillemot egg, mussells - and a suspicious amount of blood...

And when you put your P&J on her mooring early in the season (before the yotties are out of their winter bunks) every pecking oiseau in the Clyde seems to think it would be great fun to eat the upholstery.

I want a 12 bore...

(I did watch "The Human Planet" where the Africans effectively napalmed half a million sparrows - I'm not vindictive, but I may have a job for those lads )

I advise against the gun. A friends rib was moored in front of his house, he got a strong air rifle ready. One morning when the wife wasn't in, awoke to a seagull sat on the boat, he got excited, grabbed the gun, aimed, fired..... SMASH! He had thought he'd opened the window before he grabbed the gun, doh!

Plus a 12 bore's spread may well catch the tubes!!!

I have a colleague at work I call ‘The Seagull’.

He flies in.
Squawks a lot
Craps on everyone
Then flies off again.

One of us will take a gun to him soon.

Nasher.

You guys are giving shitehawks a hard time but in the Merchant Navy we love them!!!...take a look at film footage after any oil spill anywhere in the world....the little feckers are great at absorbing oil!

I find they run best with a D16 spark plug and 10:1 fuel:oil ratio.
