Seasons Greetings

Seasons greetings to one and all. Hope you all have a good, happy Christmas and a healthy, prosperous New Year.

I don't normally make new years resolutions, but in 2024 I plan on getting out on the water a lot more than I managed in '23.

Happy Christmas to you Steve and fellow ribnetters.

If you’re looking for boating nirvana, then Melfort Pier should be on your shortlist in 2024, plus chalets or camping at Ardmair Point, north of Ullapool.

Planning to get out more myself this new year too. Work does have a habit of putting the kibosh on things.

Festive seasons greetings to all Ribnetters and their families.

Here's hoping next year will be better for both weather and time on the water and I get to met up with both old and new ribbing friends.

Merry Christmas all.

Now where did I leave that cockerill and pile of veg????

Christmas greetings to all Ribnetters. In our house Noddy says it's time now.

I've had a spin round on the bike for 30mins testing my own Christmas present to me, an (boating related) HH jacket but just for cycling. Excellent weight/insulation balance.

We don't buy each other major presents these days just getting what we need throughout the year. It also stems from the lack of appreciation for that saucepan set I bought once. I was going to follow it up with a knife set the following year but thought better of it for my own safety.

Have a great day all whatever you are doing.

Get outta here - no way a man with your contingency planning skills didn't see THAT coming!

Well I mean fair's fair... she bought me a 124pc Kamasa socket set that year. And you know what hurts. I looked after that socket set hence some 45yrs on it's still in use. But the saucepans... did she care... nope... all cast by the wayside over the years.

Oh and Steve... saucepans may be questionable but a mop is just reckless.
